Fundación Picasso facts for kids
The Fundación Picasso (which means "Picasso Foundation") is a special organization in Málaga, Spain. Its main goal is to share and celebrate the amazing art of Pablo Picasso, one of the most famous artists ever! This foundation is located in the very house where Picasso was born, right in the Plaza de la Merced. This house is now called the Museo Casa Natal ("Birthplace Museum"), and it's one of many museums around the world dedicated to Picasso.

What is the Fundación Picasso?
The city government of Málaga started the Fundación Picasso in 1988. Since then, it has been based in Picasso's birthplace, which is a very important historical building. In 2005, the foundation even got more space in another building nearby.
The foundation does many cool things:
- It has a special center where people can study documents about Picasso.
- It collects many different kinds of art.
- It organizes art shows and talks to teach people about art.
