G.I. Joe: Renegades is an animated TV show based on the popular G.I. Joe toys. It aired on The Hub channel from November 26, 2010, to July 23, 2011. You could also stream the series on Netflix for a few years. Later, DVD and Blu-ray versions were released in 2013.

Story of the Renegades
This show follows a group of young Joes. They are forced to become fugitives after a spy mission goes terribly wrong. This mission involves an explosion at Cobra Industries' medicine factory. The media blames them for crimes they didn't commit, calling them "renegades."
Now, the Joes are on the run. The military and Cobra's own hired fighters are chasing them. They must use all their skills to prove they are innocent. Their main goal is to show the world the true evil of Cobra Industries and its mysterious leader, Adam DeCobray.
The show takes inspiration from The A-Team. For example, Roadblock is big and good with machines, much like B.A. Baracus. Flint is an officer whose job is to catch the "Renegades," similar to Colonel Lynch. Lady Jaye secretly helps her friend Duke and the Renegades, just like characters in The A-Team series.
Show's Beginning Narration
After the first two episodes, the show's introduction is narrated by David Kaye. He says:
Accused of a crime they didn't commit, a ragtag band of fugitives fights a covert battle to clear their names and expose the insidious enemy that is... Cobra. Some call them outlaws. Some call them heroes. But these determined men and women think of themselves only as "Ordinary Joes". And this is their story.

Comic Books
IDW Publishing released four comic books based on the G.I. Joe: Renegades TV series. These comics adapted the episodes into print. Each comic book was 104 pages long.
- Volume 1 came out on January 10, 2012.
- Volumes 2 and 3 were released on July 22, 2012.
- Volume 4 was released on August 9, 2012.
Toys
Action figures of characters from G.I. Joe: Renegades were released in 2011. These included Duke, Ripcord, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and Tunnel Rat. Other figures like Law & Order and Airtight were also made. Cobra characters such as Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, Firefly, and Storm Shadow also got action figures in 2011. All these toys were part of the "30th Anniversary" line. Finally, the main Renegades team was completed in 2017 when a Roadblock figure was released as part of a special box set.
