Galway is a small village in New York, United States. It is located in Saratoga County, within the larger Town of Galway. In 2010, about 200 people lived here. The village is north of Schenectady. You can find Galway Lake, a popular spot for vacations, just west of the village.
The Story of Galway Village
The first people to settle in this area built their homes south of where Galway village is today. The village of Galway officially became a village in 1838. This means it got its own rules and government.
