Garfield is a small town located in Benton County, Arkansas, in the United States. In 2020, about 593 people lived there. It is part of the larger Northwest Arkansas area.

History of Garfield
Garfield started as a planned community in 1883. A few years later, in 1887, it got its own post office.
Geography of the Town
Garfield is found in the northeast part of Benton County. A main road, U.S. Route 62, goes right through the town. This road connects Garfield to Gateway near the Missouri border and to Rogers.
The town covers a total area of about 7.7 square kilometers (3.0 square miles). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.

Education in Garfield

Most students in Garfield attend public schools run by the Rogers School District. This district includes Garfield Elementary School. After elementary school, students usually go to Lingle Middle School and then Rogers Heritage High School.
A smaller part of Garfield is in the Pea Ridge School District. Students in this area attend Pea Ridge High School.
