Where is Gates Lake Located?

Gates Lake is found in British Columbia, a large province in western Canada. It sits in a low mountain pass called the Pemberton Pass. This pass is sometimes known as Mosquito Pass. It acts like a natural doorway between the Upper and Lower Lillooet Country. The lake is also a dividing point for two river systems. These are the Birkenhead River and the Gates River-Seton Lake drainage. This means water from the lake flows into the Gates River.
