Early Life
Geena Rocero was born in Manila, Philippines. She grew up in a working-class family. When she was 15 years old, she started taking part in beauty pageants.
At age 17, Geena moved to San Francisco, California. In 2005, she moved again to New York City. She became a U.S. citizen in 2006.
Career Highlights
When Geena Rocero was 21, a fashion photographer discovered her. This happened in a restaurant in Manhattan. Soon after, she signed with a modeling agency called NEXT Model Management.
For 12 years, she worked as a model. She appeared in many international swimsuit and beauty magazines. This helped her gain many fans around the world.
In 2014, Geena Rocero was featured on the cover of C☆NDY magazine. She was on the cover with 13 other transgender women.
