Genki Haraguchi (原口 元気, Haraguchi Genki, born 9 May 1991) is a Japanese professional footballer. He plays as an attacking midfielder. Currently, he plays for Urawa Red Diamonds and the Japan national team.

Club Career Highlights
Genki Haraguchi has played for several football clubs. He started his career in Japan. Later, he moved to Germany to play in their top leagues.
Playing for Urawa Red Diamonds
Genki began his professional journey with Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan. He made his first professional appearance on May 25, 2008. This was during a J. League Cup match. He scored his first goal for the club on April 12, 2009.
Time with Hertha BSC
On May 25, 2014, Genki joined Hertha BSC, a football club in Germany. He scored his first goal for Hertha on August 16, 2014. This was in a German Cup game. His first goal in the Bundesliga, Germany's top league, came on March 14 against Schalke 04.
Loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf
In January 2018, Genki went on loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf. He played a big part in helping the team get promoted. They moved up to the Bundesliga, which is the highest football league in Germany.
Joining Hannover 96
After his loan, Genki signed with Hannover 96 on June 11, 2018. He played for them for several seasons.
Moving to VfB Stuttgart
On January 30, 2023, Genki joined VfB Stuttgart. He signed an eighteen-month contract with the club. On May 18, 2024, it was announced that he would leave VfB Stuttgart when his contract ended.

Genki was chosen as one of the players for Japan's team in the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. This is a major football tournament for Asian countries.
EAFF East Asian Cup 2013
He played for Japan in the 2013 EAFF East Asian Cup. He helped Japan win this championship for the very first time. He played in important matches against China and South Korea.
FIFA World Cup 2018
In May 2018, Genki was selected for Japan's team. He joined the squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia. This is one of the biggest football events in the world.
