Georg Teigl's Football Journey
Georg Teigl started his football career playing in the youth system of St. Pölten. He then joined a well-known club, Red Bull Salzburg, in June 2009.
Playing for Red Bull Salzburg
Georg made his first big appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga on April 16, 2011. This was a match against Sturm Graz. Soon after, he signed a three-year contract with Red Bull Salzburg. Georg scored his very first goal in the Austrian Bundesliga on October 2, 2011, playing against Austria Wien.
Moving to RB Leipzig
On January 14, 2014, Georg Teigl moved to another club, RB Leipzig. He signed a contract with them until the summer of 2015. He scored his first goal for RB Leipzig on September 28, 2014, in a game against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Time at Austria Wien
Georg Teigl joined Austria Wien for the 2020–21 football season. During a match on February 27, 2022, Georg had a serious head injury. He recovered well and was able to return to playing football in August of the same year.
Joining Admira Wacker
On July 17, 2023, Georg Teigl signed with Admira Wacker. He continued his football career with this team.
