Georg Teigl's Football Journey
Georg Teigl started playing football in the youth system of St. Pölten. He then joined Red Bull Salzburg in June 2009.
Playing for Red Bull Salzburg
Georg Teigl made his first big game appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga on April 16, 2011. This was against Sturm Graz. Soon after, he signed a three-year contract with the club. Teigl scored his first goal in the Austrian Bundesliga on October 2, 2011. This goal was against Austria Wien.
Moving to RB Leipzig
On January 14, 2014, Georg Teigl moved to RB Leipzig. He signed a contract that lasted until the summer of 2015. He scored his first goal for RB Leipzig on September 28, 2014. This goal was in a match against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Time at Austria Wien
Teigl joined Austria Wien for the 2020–21 football season. On February 27, 2022, during a game, Teigl had a serious head injury. He had to stop playing for the rest of the 2021–22 season. Luckily, he was able to return to playing in August of that year.
Playing for Admira Wacker
