Georgina Huljich (born January 30, 1974) is an Argentine-American architect and teacher. She is a partner in PATTERNS, an architecture company based in Los Angeles. Since 2006, she has been teaching at the UCLA in the Department of Architecture and Urban Design.

Early Life and Learning

Georgina Huljich was born in Rosario, Argentina. She earned her first architecture degree from the National University of Rosario in 1998. Later, in 2003, she received her Master of Architecture degree from UCLA.

Her Work as an Architect

Before joining PATTERNS, Ms. Huljich worked at several famous places. These included the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and Morphosis Architects in Los Angeles. She also worked at Banchini + Spina Arquitectos in her home city of Rosario, Argentina.

From 2012 to 2016, she was the Director of Summer Programs at UCLA's Department of Architecture and Urban Design. Since 2015, she has been part of the executive board at the Center for the Arts of Performance at UCLA.

Ms. Huljich has also been a judge for important awards. These include the AIA Awards. She has also taught as a visiting professor at many universities. Some of these are the University of Pennsylvania, Syracuse University, and Berkeley. In 2013, she was a special visiting professor at Yale University of Architecture.

Georgina Huljich has also written books about architecture. She co-authored "PATTERNS Embedded" (2010) and "Mute Icons and other Dichotomies of the Real in Architecture" (2020). She also helped organize an art show called "Matters of Sensation" in New York in 2008.

Georgina Huljich has received many awards for her architectural designs.
