Geraldine is a small town in DeKalb County, Alabama, United States. It officially became a town in February 1957. In 2020, about 910 people lived there.

Geography
Geraldine is located at 34.353654 degrees North and -86.004002 degrees West. The town sits on top of Sand Mountain. It is about halfway between Rainsville to the northeast and Albertville to the southwest. Two main roads, State Route 75 and State Route 227, meet near the center of town. The town covers about 3.9 square miles (9.9 square kilometers) of land. A very small part, about 0.26%, is water.

Education
Geraldine School is a school for students from pre-kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. It is part of the DeKalb County School System. The school's sports teams are called the "Bulldogs." As of December 2023, Geraldine High School is a 3A high school, which is a classification based on school size. Each year, between 50 and 100 students graduate from Geraldine School. The principal of the school is Robert Richey.
