Geraldo João Martins is a Bissau-Guinean economist and politician who served as the prime minister of Guinea-Bissau from 8 August to 21 December 2023. He was minister of economy and finance in several cabinets (including the one of Prime Minister Domingos Simões Pereira) from 2014 to 2015, from 2015 to 2016 and from 2019 to 2020.
Education
Martins has a law degree from the Bissau Law School. He earned a master's degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London.
