Gilead is a small village located in Thayer County, Nebraska, in the United States. It's a quiet place with a population of about 32 people, according to the 2020 census.
History of Gilead
Gilead was started in the 1880s. It became a village when the railroad tracks were built to reach that area. The village was named after an older area called Gilead Precinct.
