Glen Logan was born on March 26, 1998. He is an American football player who plays as a defensive tackle. Currently, he plays for the Houston Roughnecks in the United Football League (UFL). Before joining the UFL, he played college football for LSU.

High School Football Journey

Glen Logan played high school football at Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. He was a defensive tackle, which is a position on the defensive line. During his senior year, he was recognized as one of the best players in Louisiana. He made 54.5 tackles, which means he stopped the player with the ball many times. He also had 5.5 tackles for loss and four sacks, which means he tackled the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage.

Experts from different sports websites, like 247Sports and ESPN, all agreed he was a top player. They called him a "four-star recruit," which is a high ranking for young athletes. Some even said he was one of the best defensive tackles in the entire country.

College Football Career

Logan played for the LSU team for six seasons, from 2016 to 2021. He played in 51 games and started 37 of them as a defensive lineman. He was a very important player for the team.

In 2016, he "redshirted" his first year. This means he practiced with the team but didn't play in games. This allowed him to gain an extra year of eligibility later. Because of special NCAA rules during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was allowed to play for a sixth year in 2021.

During his time at LSU, Glen Logan made 110 tackles and had 7.0 sacks. A big highlight of his college career was winning a national championship with LSU in 2019.

Professional Football Career

After college, Glen Logan was not chosen in the 2022 NFL draft. This means he was an undrafted free agent, but teams could still sign him.

Playing for the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns signed Logan as an undrafted free agent in 2022. However, he was released by the Browns on August 29, 2022, before the regular season began.

Time with the Arlington Renegades

Later, Logan was picked by the Arlington Renegades in the 2023 XFL Draft. The XFL was another professional football league.

Joining the Houston Roughnecks (XFL)

In January 2023, Logan was traded to the Roughnecks, another team in the XFL. The XFL later merged with another league, the USFL, to create the United Football League (UFL). Because of this merger, the XFL's Roughnecks team was closed down.

Playing for the Houston Roughnecks (UFL)

On January 15, 2024, Glen Logan was chosen by the new Houston Roughnecks team in the UFL's Super Draft. He officially signed with the team on January 23, 2024. He signed with the Roughnecks again on August 20, 2024, showing he is still a key part of their team.

Beyond Football: Professional Wrestling

WWE Opportunity

On December 8, 2021, it was announced that Glen Logan had signed an agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc (WWE). This was part of a special program called "Next in Line."

This program helps college athletes who might be interested in becoming professional wrestlers. Logan was one of 15 athletes chosen for it. The program gives them access to the WWE Performance Center, which is where wrestlers train. It also provides other resources to help them develop their skills. After finishing the program, athletes might be offered a contract to become a WWE superstar.
