Glenwood is a suburb located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is about 33 kilometers north-west of the main city center. Glenwood is part of the City of Blacktown area and the wider Greater Western Sydney region.

A Look Back: Glenwood's History
Glenwood got its name from an old property called 'Glenwood Park'. This property was named in the 1940s. Before that, it had other names like Norfolk Vale and Sorrento. Glenwood officially became a suburb in 1996. It was also the first area to be built up in the larger Rouse Hill Development.
