Glenwood is located in Queensland, Australia. It's found right in the middle of the journey between two towns: Gympie and Maryborough. You can find it along the Bruce Highway, which is a major road.

Glenwood has a bit of history, especially with its school.
School History
The first school in Glenwood was called Glenwood Provisional School. It opened a long time ago, on 11 November 1918. A provisional school is usually a smaller, temporary school. Later, on 1 December 1927, it became Glenwood State School. A state school is a permanent school run by the government.
Local Government Changes
For many years, Glenwood was part of an area called the Shire of Tiaro. But in 2008, there were big changes to how local areas were managed in Queensland. Many smaller areas joined together. After these changes, Glenwood became part of both the Fraser Coast Region and the Gympie Region.
