God the Father facts for kids
In many religions, the main deity or God is often called the Father. This shows a special connection, like a parent has with their children.
In Christianity, God the Father is the first part of the Trinity. The Trinity is a way Christians understand God as three "persons": God the Father, God the Son (who is Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. All three are fully God, but they are different "persons" within the one God. Even though Jesus had St. Joseph as his human father on Earth, Jesus is God, so his true Father is God the Father.
