Goran Švob (born May 29, 1947 – died April 18, 2013) was a Croatian philosopher and logician. A philosopher is someone who studies big questions about life and knowledge. A logician studies how we think and reason correctly.

He was a professor at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. He taught subjects like logic and the philosophy of language. This is a field that looks at how language works and how it connects to our thoughts and the world.

Švob wrote two books and many scientific papers. He was very interested in a way of thinking called analytic philosophy. This type of philosophy uses careful reasoning and logic to solve problems. He was especially inspired by famous philosophers like Gottlob Frege, Bertrand Russell, and Ludwig Wittgenstein.
