Grandin Court is a friendly neighborhood in Roanoke, Virginia. It's located in the southwest part of the city. Grandin Court shares its borders with other neighborhoods like Raleigh Court to the north and Franklin-Colonial to the south and east. Part of its southwestern edge touches Roanoke County. In 2000, there were 1,144 homes in Grandin Court.

A Look Back: Grandin Court's History
Grandin Court became part of Roanoke City in two steps. This happened through special agreements called annexations. The first part joined the city in 1926, and the rest followed in 1943.
How Grandin Court Grew
Most of the homes in Grandin Court were built between 1920 and 1960. The neighborhood is split by U.S. Highway 221, also known as Brambleton Avenue. U.S. Highway 11, or Grandin Road, forms its northern edge.
Building started in the northwest part of Grandin Court and then spread out. You can find many different styles of houses here. Some popular types include cottages, bungalows, and American Foursquare homes.
Local Businesses and Landmarks
A well-known spot in the neighborhood is The Coffee Pot restaurant. It opened way back in 1936. Over time, more shops and businesses have grown up along Brambleton Avenue, especially near the Roanoke County line. This area has become a busy center for the neighborhood.
