Grant Bowler (born 18 July 1968) is an actor and television host. He is from both New Zealand and Australia. Grant has worked in movies, TV shows, and theatre in many countries. These include America, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
He is well-known for playing Constable Wayne Patterson in the TV show Blue Heelers. He also played Wolfgang West in Outrageous Fortune. You might also know him as Connor Owens in Ugly Betty. He later starred as Joshua Nolan in the Syfy TV series Defiance.
As a host, Grant Bowler presented popular reality game shows. These include The Mole Australia and The Amazing Race Australia. Both shows were shown on the Seven Network. Since 2004, he has also been the voice for Border Security: Australia.

Grant Bowler studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He also performed a lot in theatre with the Bell Shakespeare Company.
Early TV Roles
His first TV role was as Constable Wayne Patterson on Blue Heelers. He was on this show from 1993 to 1996. After that, he appeared in shows like Pacific Drive and Medivac. He also had roles in Always Greener and Stingers. Grant starred in the TV movie On the Beach. He spent a year on the ABC series Something in the Air. In 2004, he was in the miniseries Through My Eyes. This show was about the famous disappearance of Azaria Chamberlain. He also had a role on All Saints from 2004 to 2005.
Hosting TV Shows
Grant Bowler hosted the Australian version of The Mole. He was the host from 2000 to 2003. He also started as the on-camera host for Border Security: Australia's Front Line in 2004. After the first season, he became the off-camera narrator for the show.
In 2010, he was chosen to host Seven Network's The Amazing Race Australia. He hosted this show for three seasons.
