Grantville is in the southern part of Coweta County. A major road, U.S. Route 29, goes through the city. Also, Interstate 85 passes by the eastern side.
Interstate 85 connects Grantville to big cities. It goes northeast about 46 miles to Atlanta. It also goes southwest about 114 miles to Montgomery, Alabama. U.S. Route 29 is a more local road. It leads north about 12 miles to Newnan, which is the main city in Coweta County. It goes southwest about 20 miles to LaGrange.
The city of Grantville covers a total area of about 5.8 square miles (15 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with only a very small part being water.
