Green Hills is a really nice neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee. It's known for being a well-off area. You can find Green Hills south of downtown Nashville, right along Hillsboro Pike (which is also U.S. Highway 431 and Tennessee State Route 106).
Discovering Green Hills
Green Hills is part of a larger area that stretches south towards Forest Hills and Williamson County. To the east and west, you'll find Oak Hill and Belle Meade. It's also super close to three big universities: Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Lipscomb. Just north of Green Hills, across Interstate 440, is the cool neighborhood of Hillsboro Village.
Fun Places to Visit
One of the most popular spots in Green Hills is The Mall at Green Hills. It's a big indoor shopping center that started out as a smaller outdoor shopping area back in the early 1950s. This was one of the very first large shopping centers built in Nashville! Today, you'll find popular stores like Nordstrom and the Apple Store there.
Another famous place is the Bluebird Cafe. It's located on Hillsboro Pike in Green Hills. This cafe is a very well-known spot for live music, especially for songwriters. Many famous musicians have played there!
