Greer Grammer was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 15, 1992. Her dad is the actor Kelsey Grammer. Her mom is Barrie Buckner, a make-up artist.

Greer was mostly raised by her mom in Malibu, California. She has three half-sisters and three half-brothers from her dad's side. Greer was named after a famous actress, Greer Garson.

She studied theater at Idyllwild Arts Academy for two years. In 2015, Greer was chosen as Miss Golden Globe. This is an honor given to the child of a famous person who helps at the Golden Globe Awards show.

Beauty Pageant Journey

Greer started competing in beauty pageants in 2008. She won her first title, Miss Teen Malibu. After that, she placed in the top 10 at the Miss California Teen competition.

She competed again the next year and won Miss Teen Malibu once more. She also placed in the Top 10 at the state competition again. In 2009, she represented the Marina Del Rey area. For the third year in a row, she placed in the Top 10 of the 2010 state competition. Greer also held the title of Miss Regional California Teen 2011.

Her last pageant was the Miss California Teen 2011 competition. She represented Thousand Oaks and placed in the Top 10. After this, she stopped competing in pageants.

Greer Grammer's first acting job was in 2010. She was a guest star on the Nickelodeon show iCarly. After that, she acted in some independent movies. These included Almost Kings, Chastity Bites, and An Evergreen Christmas.

In 2011, Greer got a role in the MTV comedy series Awkward. She played Lissa Miller. For the first two seasons, she was a recurring character. Then, she became a main cast member for seasons three, four, and five.
