Grey Badger II was born on May 5, 1941. He was officially registered with the AQHA as number 2006. His records show he was a gray horse. Walter F. Merrick from Texola, Oklahoma was his breeder.
His father was a horse named Midnight Jr. His mother was Grey Annie. Her father was Billy the Tough. Grey Badger II was owned by Chick Crisp from Sayre, Oklahoma when he was registered.
Grey Badger II had a special family tree. His father, Midnight Jr, was a grandson of a very famous horse named Peter McCue. Grey Badger II's mother also had Peter McCue in her family tree. This means Grey Badger II had Peter McCue in his background five different times!
