Grigoriy Zakharovich Bronza (born April 30, 1927 – died January 30, 2010) was a talented artist from Transnistria. Transnistria is a small region in Eastern Europe. Grigoriy Bronza was known for restoring art and was an important member of the Transnistria Union of Artists.
He was also a famous designer of postage stamps for both Transnistria and Moldova. Besides his art, he helped create several museums in the area that used to be the Soviet Union.
Grigoriy Bronza and World War II
During World War II, Grigoriy Bronza bravely served in the Red Army. The Red Army was the army of the Soviet Union. He received several special awards for his service during the war. These awards showed his courage and dedication.

- Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945"

Designing Postage Stamps
Grigoriy Bronza was the person who created the very first stamps for Moldova. These stamps were released in June 1991. He also designed the first stamps for the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria), which came out in December 1993.
He continued to design many other stamps for Transnistria. For example, he created the third main set of stamps for Transnistria in 1997. He also designed a special series of stamps in 1997 to mark the 5th anniversary of important events in Bender. In 1999, he made a series of stamps called "Historical and modern coats of arms of cities of Transnistria." That same year, he designed stamps for the 200th anniversary of the famous poet Alexander Pushkin.
