Guerrero is a municipality located in the state of Coahuila, in north-eastern Mexico. A municipality is like a local government area. Its main town, or "municipal seat," is also called Guerrero.
This area covers about 3,219.7 square kilometers. It sits right on the border between Mexico and the USA. The border here is formed by the Río Bravo del Norte, also known as the Rio Grande. On the other side of the river is the U.S. state of Texas.
In 2010, the municipality of Guerrero had a total population of 2,091 people.
