Guttet-Feschel is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Leuk district of Valais, a canton in Switzerland. It was created in 2000 when two smaller towns, Guttet and Feschel, joined together.

The two villages that make up Guttet-Feschel have a long history. Feschel was first written about in documents way back in 1267. At that time, it was known by names like Vexli or Veselli.
Guttet is even older in written records. It was first mentioned in 1261 as de gottet. These old names help us understand how the villages have changed over hundreds of years.
