Guy Béart (born Guy Béhart-Hasson; July 16, 1930 – September 16, 2015) was a famous French singer and songwriter. He was known for his unique songs and performances.

Guy Béart's Early Life and Education
Guy Béart was born in Cairo, Egypt. His family was Sephardic Jewish. They moved around a lot because his father was an accountant. Guy lived in France, Greece, Mexico, and Egypt as a child.
Growing Up in Lebanon
His family settled in Lebanon when he was ten. He finished his high school studies there. By age seventeen, he earned his French baccalaureate (a high school diploma). He studied at the International College of Beirut.
Choosing Music and Engineering
Guy became very interested in music during these years. He decided to move to Paris to study music. He went to the "École nationale de musique." Besides music, he also earned a degree in engineering.

In 1952, Guy's father passed away. Guy chose to work as an engineer to help his family. He studied at a famous engineering school in Paris.
Starting His Music Career
