HMS Donovan is a special music album by the British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was his ninth studio album overall. This album is his second one made especially for children, following a part of his earlier album called A Gift from a Flower to a Garden.
It's a double album, meaning it has two records or discs. HMS Donovan was first released only in the UK in July 1971 by Dawn Records.

About the Album's Release
This album was first released in the UK in 1971. Later, in January 1998, a company called Beat Goes On Records released HMS Donovan again on CD in the UK. In 2009, the album was also released on CD in South Korea by Media Arte.
