Half-Life: Alyx is a first-person shooter video game for virtual reality created by the company Valve Corporation and released in 2020. The game happens between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2. The player controls Alyx Vance who is on a mission to take control of a superweapon which belongs to Combine.
Plot
The events of Half-Life: Alyx happen five years before the events of Half-Life 2. Alyx Vance and her father Dr. Eli Vance are captured by the Combine forces. Resistance member Russell rescues Alyx. He tells her that Eli will be sent to Nova Prospekt for questioning.
