Half Moon Lake is a small community, called a hamlet, in Alberta, Canada. It's part of Strathcona County. This community is also known as Half Moon Estates by Statistics Canada, which is Canada's national statistics office.

The hamlet sits right by the beautiful Half Moon Lake. It's located just north of Highway 629. You can find it about 13 kilometers (8.1 mi) southeast of Sherwood Park. The community started in the late 1950s when land around the lake was divided into lots for homes.
