Hamler is a small village located in Henry County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 600 people lived there. Hamler is a farming community in Northwest Ohio. It is about 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Toledo, Ohio. The village is found where two old railroad lines, the Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) and the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton (D, T & I), used to cross. It is also where Ohio State Route 109 and Ohio State Route 18 meet.

History of Hamler
Hamler was officially planned and mapped out in 1874. The village got its name from John Hamler, who owned the land. A post office has been serving the community of Hamler since 1875.
