Hannah Mary Barnes (born on May 4, 1993) is a talented British racing cyclist. She rides for the UCI Women's WorldTeam Uno-X Mobility. Hannah is also the sister of another racing cyclist, Alice Barnes, who rides for Canyon–SRAM.

Hannah Barnes' Cycling Journey
Hannah Barnes was born in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. She grew up in Bladon, Oxfordshire, and later moved to Towcester, Northamptonshire.
Starting Young
Hannah began her cycling adventure at just 10 years old with a team called Team Keyne. Later, she joined Palmer Park Velo in Reading. This happened after she was noticed and invited to join British Cycling's special Talent Team.
Early Wins and National Titles
Hannah quickly showed her skills. She became the under-14 omnium National Champion. This was a big achievement, as famous cyclists like Laura Trott and Lucy Garner had also won this title. As she got older, Hannah won many more national titles. She became a champion on the track as an under-16 rider and then as a junior. She also won the junior British National Time Trial Championships.
In 2010 and 2011, while still a junior, Hannah won the senior women's British National Circuit Race Championships. This showed she could compete with older, more experienced riders.
Representing England
In 2011, Hannah proudly represented England at the Commonwealth Youth Games held on the Isle of Man. In 2012, she rode for the UCI Women's Team Team Ibis Cycles.
Big Race Victories
On June 8, 2013, Hannah won the Elite Women's Criterium at the IG London Nocturne. There was a small mix-up where she was first placed second, but the decision was later changed, and her victory was confirmed!
In November 2013, it was announced that Hannah would join the new UnitedHealthcare women's cycling team for 2014. In November 2015, she became part of the Canyon–SRAM team's first-ever group of riders for the 2016 season. In August 2021, it was shared that Hannah would move from Canyon–SRAM to the new Uno-X Pro Cycling Team team, starting in 2022.
