Happily Ever After is an animated musical fantasy film from 1989. It was first released in the Philippines as Snow White: The Adventure Continues. The movie was written by Robby London and Martha Moran, and directed by John Howley. It features the voices of famous actors like Irene Cara, Malcolm McDowell, Ed Asner, Carol Channing, Dom DeLuise, and Phyllis Diller.
This film continues the classic fairy tale of "Snow White". In this story, Snow White and the Prince are about to get married. But a new danger appears: the evil Queen's brother, Lord Maliss, wants revenge. The movie introduces new characters called the Dwarfelles, who are the female cousins of the Seven Dwarfs. They help Snow White fight against Lord Maliss.
Happily Ever After is a different story from another Filmation movie called A Snow White Christmas, which was also a sequel to Snow White. This movie faced some legal problems with The Walt Disney Company. When it was widely released in 1993, it didn't do very well financially or with critics. A video game based on the movie came out in 1994.

Plot Summary
Snow White's New Adventure
The movie begins with the Looking Glass telling the story of "Snow White" again. The mean Queen is gone, and the kingdom is peaceful. Snow White and the Prince are getting ready for their wedding.
Meanwhile, at the Queen's old castle, her animal helpers are celebrating their freedom. But then, the Queen's equally evil brother, Lord Maliss, a powerful wizard, arrives. He finds out his sister is gone and promises to get revenge. He turns into a scary wyvern (a type of dragon) and takes over the castle. He also turns the land around it into a dangerous wasteland. Scowl the owl then starts teaching his friend, a purple bat named Batso, how to be evil.
The next day, Snow White and the Prince are picking flowers for their wedding in a meadow. Maliss, in his wyvern form, attacks them. He captures the Prince, who tries to fight back. Snow White manages to escape into the woods and finds the cottage of the Seven Dwarfs.
Meeting the Dwarfelles
The next day, Snow White meets the Dwarfs' female cousins, the Seven "Dwarfelles". Their names are Muddy, Sunburn, Blossom, Marina, Critterina, Moonbeam, and Thunderella. The Dwarfs have moved away to a new mine. The Dwarfelles are happy to help Snow White. They take her to visit Mother Nature at Rainbow Falls. Mother Nature gave the Dwarfelles special powers to help her. She tells Thunderella that she hasn't learned to control her powers. She also warns the other Dwarfelles that they aren't using their powers correctly and might lose them.
Maliss attacks them again, but Mother Nature shoots him with lightning. He crashes and turns back into his human form. Before he leaves, Maliss tells Snow White that the Prince is held captive in his castle.
The Journey to Maliss's Castle
Snow White and the Dwarfelles travel to Maliss's castle, which is in a place called the Realm of Doom. On their way, they meet a mysterious person called the Shadow Man, who wears a cloak. Maliss sends his horned wolves after the group. They escape with the help of the Shadow Man. Maliss is very angry that his plan failed. He turns back into his wyvern form and finally captures Snow White himself, taking her to his castle.
The Dwarfelles follow them and sneak into the castle. They have to fight off Maliss's helpers, including Scowl and Batso.
The Final Battle
Inside the castle, Snow White finds the Prince. But he acts strangely and tries to lead her through a secret passage to escape. Snow White soon realizes it's not the real Prince; it's Lord Maliss in disguise! Maliss tries to throw a magic red cloak on Snow White to turn her into stone. He almost succeeds, but the Shadow Man attacks him. Maliss defeats the Shadow Man, who seems to die.
As Maliss tries again to turn Snow White to stone, the seven Dwarfelles arrive and attack him. But they also fail and are turned into stone by Maliss. Only Thunderella is unharmed. She finally gains control of her powers and helps Snow White fight Maliss. They manage to throw the magic cloak onto Maliss. He is permanently turned into stone while changing between his human and wyvern forms.
As the sun shines on the castle, the Dwarfelles turn back to normal. The Shadow Man wakes up and reveals he is actually the Prince! The Prince explains that Maliss had put a spell on him. He had been watching over Snow White during her journey, protecting her. Mother Nature decides to let the Dwarfelles keep their powers. They proved themselves by working together. She also allows them to attend Snow White's wedding.
In the end, Mother Nature takes Batso and Scowl to train them as her new helpers. Snow White and the Prince are reunited. They share a kiss and begin to live happily ever after.
