The Hart State Outdoor Recreation Area is a fun place in Hartwell, Georgia, in northeast Georgia. People also call it Hart State Park or Hart Park. It's a special natural area that covers about 147 acres (59.5 hectares). This park is named after a brave woman from the American Revolutionary War named Nancy Hart. She was a hero who fought for freedom, and that's why her name is well-known in Georgia even today.

Hart Park is a great spot for many outdoor activities. You can go swimming, boating, or try water skiing on Lake Hartwell. It's also a popular place for fishing. If you like to stay active on land, there's a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) trail perfect for hiking and biking.

The park has something for all ages. Younger kids can enjoy the playground. If you want to stay overnight, there's a campground. The campground is open during certain times of the year, usually from March 15 to September 15.
