Hasan Ahmad al-Lawzi (born 1952 – died July 13, 2020) was an important politician and writer from Yemen. He served as the Minister of Information for his country. He was also a poet and wrote many stories.

Hasan al-Lawzi was born in a city called Sana'a in Yemen. He went to college at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. This university is very famous for its history and learning.
