Hasdrubal the Fair lived from about 270 BC to 221 BC. He was the son-in-law of Hamilcar Barca, who was a very important Carthaginian general. He fought against the Romans during the Second Punic War. He led Carthaginian armies in Iberia and later tried to join his brother Hannibal in Italy.

Hasdrubal Gisco was another important Carthaginian commander during the Second Punic War. He died in 202 BC. He fought against the Roman general Scipio Africanus in North Africa.
