Haven Lake is a beautiful lake located in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Unorganized Part of Kenora District. This means it is in a wild, undeveloped area.
The lake is a key part of the huge Hudson Bay drainage basin. This basin collects water from a very large area. Haven Lake is also found within the amazing Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.
Where Haven Lake's Water Goes
Haven Lake has a main stream called Haven Creek. This creek flows into the lake from an unnamed lake to the south. It also flows out of Haven Lake to the northwest.
Haven Creek's Journey
After leaving Haven Lake, Haven Creek continues its journey. It flows towards Rostoul Lake. From there, the water travels through a series of rivers and lakes:
- The Rostoul River
- The Gammon River
- The Bloodvein River
- Lake Winnipeg
- The Nelson River
Finally, all this water reaches its final destination: Hudson Bay. This long path shows how all the waterways are connected.
