Now, the same site has the Cosumnes Power Plant, which uses natural gas, and a solar power setup. The tall cooling towers from the old nuclear plant are still standing. They are actually the biggest buildings in California's Central Valley! Close by, you can visit Rancho Seco Recreational Park. It has a lake that was first made to help supply water to the power plant.
