Winter Wonderland: Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area
When winter arrives, Hidden Valley transforms into a snowy playground! The Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area opened in 1965 and is a popular spot for winter sports. It's usually open from December to March, depending on the snow.
Skiing and Snowboarding Fun
This ski area is great for both downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, as well as snowboarding. The highest point of the ski area is 390 meters (1,276 feet) above sea level. You can enjoy a vertical drop of 100 meters (327 feet) as you ski down the slopes.
The ski area has four ski lifts to take you up the mountain and thirteen different trails to choose from:
- Four trails for beginners (Green Circle)
- Four trails for intermediate skiers (Blue Square)
- Three trails for advanced skiers (Black Diamond)
- Two trails for expert skiers (Double Black Diamond)
