Hollis Price was born on October 29, 1979. He is an American basketball coach and a former professional basketball player. Currently, he works as an assistant coach for the University of Houston men's basketball team.

Hollis Price's College Basketball Journey
Hollis Price played college basketball for the University of Oklahoma. He was a key player from 1999 to 2003. In 2002, he helped his team, the Sooners, reach the Final Four. This is a very important stage in the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. Many people think he is one of the best basketball players from the University of Oklahoma.
Hollis Price's Professional Basketball Career
After college, Hollis Price became a professional basketball player. He played for several teams in different countries. He played for BC Lietuvos Rytas in Lithuania. He also played for ALBA Berlin in Germany. Other teams included Le Mans Sarthe Basket in France and CB Sevilla in Spain.
During the Euroleague 2007-2008 season, Price was a top scorer. He was also the main play maker for BC Lietuvos Rytas. A play maker is a player who helps set up scoring chances for their teammates. Later, he joined MBC Dynamo Moscow.
In 2009, he moved to Olimpia Milano. Then, in February 2010, Price joined the Artland Dragons. He returned to ALBA Berlin in August 2010. He played there for a few months before leaving in February 2011.
Hollis Price's Coaching Career
After his playing career, Hollis Price started coaching. On May 1, 2014, he joined the University of Houston men's basketball program. He worked as the director of player development. In this role, he helped players improve their skills. In 2021, he was promoted to an assistant coach. He continues to help the Houston Cougars team today.
