Holualoa (which means "long slide" in Hawaiian) is a special community in the North Kona District of Hawaii County, Hawaii, United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's an area grouped together for counting people, but it's not officially a city or town.

In 2010, about 8,538 people lived in Holualoa. This number grew from 6,107 people in 2000. However, for the 2020 count, the boundaries of Holualoa changed a lot. Some parts near the coast became part of the nearby Kailua-Kona area. At the same time, some parts of Kailua-Kona became part of Holualoa. Because of these changes, the population of Holualoa in 2020 was 2,994 people.

A famous person named Harold Sakata was born here in 1920. He was an actor known for playing the villain Oddjob in the 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger. His birth name was Toshiyuki Sakata.
