Homer Glen is a small village in Illinois, United States. It is located about 32 miles (51 km) southwest of downtown Chicago. Most of Homer Glen is in Will County, Illinois, with a small part in Cook County.

The village was officially started on April 17, 2001. Before it became Homer Glen, this area was known as "Goodings Grove". According to the 2020 census, about 24,543 people live here.

Where is Homer Glen Located?

Homer Glen is found at 41°37′22″N 87°56′29″W. Its borders are:

  • North: Just south of 131st Street, near the Cook County line.
  • South: 183rd Street.
  • East: Will-Cook Road.
  • West: Gougar Road.

Homer Glen shares its borders with other nearby villages and cities. These include Lemont to the north, Orland Park to the east, New Lenox to the south, and Lockport to the west. The main roads in Homer Glen are Bell Road (running north-south), and 143rd Street and 159th Street (both running east-west).
