The Town of Howard is a local government area in southwestern Chippewa County, Wisconsin. It's a part of the United States. In 2010, about 798 people lived here. This was an increase from 648 people in 2000.
Two small communities, Albertville and Howard, are located within the town.

History of Howard Town
The Town of Howard got its name from Benjamin Howard. He was a Brigadier General during the War of 1812. This war was fought between the United States and Great Britain.
Geography and Location
The Town of Howard is surrounded by other towns and counties. To its west is Dunn County. To the north, you'll find the Town of Cooks Valley. The Town of Tilden is to the east, and the Town of Wheaton is to the south.
The total area of the town is about 92.8 square kilometers (about 35.8 square miles). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.
