History of Hubbard

Hubbard got its name from Charles Hubbard. He was an early settler in Oregon, arriving in 1847. The railroad came to the town in 1870. A train station was built there, which helped the town grow.

In 2023, something unusual happened. Former U.S. President Donald Trump was chosen for a local fire board seat. This happened through a special tie-breaking dice roll. However, he could not join the board. This was because he did not live or own property in the area.
