Hudson Bay Mountain

Hudson Bay Mountain is a very tall mountain in British Columbia, Canada. It stands high above the town of Smithers. This mountain is home to the Hudson Bay Mountain Resort, a popular place for skiing and snowboarding.

You might have even seen Hudson Bay Mountain in movies! It was a filming spot for "The Grey" and "Eight Below". The mountain got its name because it is close to a ranch that used to belong to the Hudson's Bay Company. This company was very important in Canadian history.

One cool thing about Hudson Bay Mountain Resort is the Rotary Community Trail. This is an 8-kilometer (about 5-mile) ski run that goes all the way down into the town of Smithers. It is a great way to end a day on the slopes!
