Hurricane is an unincorporated community in Baldwin County, Alabama on the Tensaw River about 12 miles (19 km) north of Spanish Fort, Alabama.
History
Variant names were "Hurricane Bayou" and "Tensaw Station". A post office called Hurricane Bayou was established in 1877, the name was changed to Hurricane in 1895, and the post office closed in 1962. The community was named for the fact a hurricane had struck the area.
