iCarly (also known as iCarly: The Game) is a fun party video game from 2009. It's based on the popular TV show called iCarly. This game lets you join Carly, Sam, and Freddie on their adventures!

The game was made for two different systems. The Wii version was created by Blitz Games. The Nintendo DS version was developed by Human Soft. Both versions were released in North America in October 2009. They came out in Europe and Australia in November 2009.

If you enjoyed this game, there's also a sequel! It's called iCarly 2: iJoin the Click!. That game came out in November 2010 for the Wii and Nintendo DS.

Playing the iCarly Game

The iCarly video game follows the story of the TV show. Carly Shay has her own web show called iCarly. She creates it with her best friends, Sam and Freddie. But in the game, something goes wrong!

Carly's videos on the iCarly website start disappearing. It turns out that Nevel, a tricky character, has taken down their website. So, Carly and her friends must work together to get their website back online.

How to Get the Website Back

To fix the website, players need to complete 10 different minigames. These minigames are like the funny skits you see on the iCarly show. You get to play as Carly, Sam, and Freddie. Each minigame brings new challenges and adventures.

Create Your Own Webisodes

One cool part of the game is the "iCreate" mode. This mode lets you be super creative! You can add your own special touches to the webisodes. Imagine swapping out props, changing characters, or picking new colors. You can even choose different sounds, intros, and outros for your videos.

Playing with Friends

You can play iCarly by yourself or with up to four friends. Players can either work together or compete against each other. As you complete skits, you earn "Web-Creds." These are like points or money in the game.

You can use your Web-Creds to buy new items. This includes props, accessories, and even new locations. You can find these items in the game's online stores. The Wii version of the game lets up to four players join in the fun at the same time.

iCarly Speedrunning

Some players enjoy trying to finish games as fast as possible. This is called speedrunning. Between 2018 and 2020, a small group of players became interested in speedrunning the Wii version of the iCarly game.

In November 2020, a player who held the world record for finishing the game fastest offered a challenge. They offered $200 to the first person who could beat their record! This shows how dedicated some fans are to playing iCarly in unique ways.
