IF Sylvia is a Swedish football club located in Norrköping. The club was started on May 19, 1922. Currently, they play in the third highest football league in Sweden, called Division 1. The club is part of the Östergötlands Fotbollförbund, which is a local football association.
When the club first began, they also played other sports like bandy. Bandy is a winter sport similar to ice hockey, but played with a ball.
In March 2013, IF Sylvia began working together with another club, IFK Norrköping. This partnership means that IF Sylvia helps train young players from IFK. It also allows IF Sylvia to borrow players from IFK for short periods if they need them.
