Indira Stefanianna (born Indira Stefanianna Christopherson on December 15, 1946) is a talented American actress and singer. She is also known by the names Indira Danks and Stefanianna Christopherson. Many people remember her as the first voice of Daphne Blake in the popular cartoon Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! during its first season in 1969. She stopped acting and singing professionally in 2009.

Early Life and Music Dreams
Indira Stefanianna Christopherson grew up in San Francisco, California. Her father, Lorne Christopherson, was from Canada, and her mother, Hrafnhildur, was born in Iceland.
When she was a little girl, Indira and her mother often sang nursery rhymes together. This made her dream of becoming a professional singer and actress one day. After finishing high school, she studied singing and piano at the Peninsula Conservatory of Music. She also attended two colleges: the College of San Mateo and San Francisco State University.

Indira Christopherson has had a varied career. She worked as a character actor, performed on stage, and recorded music. She also did a lot of voice acting for cartoons.
Early Stage and TV Roles
When she was 18, Indira moved to Iceland and had a singing career there, performing in several languages. After returning to the United States, she began her stage career. She appeared in plays like The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and Songs My Mother Never Sang.
Her first TV appearance was in 1967 on the show The Dating Game. In 1968, she was chosen to play the main character in a movie called Reality. She also performed in a musical version of Cinderella in 1972.
Famous Voice Roles
Indira is most famous for being the first voice of Daphne Blake on Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!. She voiced Daphne for the first season in 1969. She then moved to New York with her husband, Rabindra Danks. Another actress, Heather North, took over the role of Daphne after her.
Indira also voiced Princess Dawn on Here Comes the Grump. She provided extra voices for Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels. Later, she did voiceovers for Scholastic Media in Clifford the Big Red Dog and a series called Your Community Changes Every Day. She even won an award for her work on Your Community Changes Every Day.
Commercials and Songs
Indira Christopherson is also well-known for writing and singing songs for commercials, called jingles. She sang in the famous AT&T jingle Reach Out and Touch Someone. This jingle won a Clio Award, which is a big award for advertising. She also wrote and sang the song "Crystal of a Star" for the 1986 movie Star Crystal.
Indira's Personal Life
Indira Christopherson married Rabindra Danks, who was an artist, on October 24, 1969. They worked on music albums together during their marriage. After eleven years, they divorced on October 31, 1980. Indira has one son named K.C. Katsaros.
