Ingrid Burley (born December 19, 1986) is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. She is known professionally as Ingrid. She used to be known as IB3. Ingrid grew up in Houston, Texas.
Ingrid started her music journey at a young age. When she was just 11, she was part of a music group called Trio. This group was managed by Mathew Knowles, who also managed the famous group Destiny's Child.
Ingrid became well-known for her songwriting skills. She signed a deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. This allowed her to create demo songs for big artists like Beyoncé. In 2013, Ingrid sang on the song "Blow" from Beyoncé's album. She also helped write "Love Drought" for Beyoncé's album Lemonade. Ingrid also worked on the song "Shining" with Jay-Z for DJ Khaled's 2017 album.
In 2015, Ingrid signed with Parkwood Entertainment. This is Beyoncé's own record label. Other artists like Chloe x Halle and Sophie Beem also signed with Parkwood. Ingrid released her first EP, called Trill Feels, on June 17, 2016.
